What is Apposite?

Apposite is a platform that connects individuals seeking career advice with experienced consultants. Users can sign up both as clients to receive advice and as consultants to provide advice.

How do I sign up?

To sign up, complete your profile with the necessary information and enter your payment details through Stripe Connect. You can choose to enable your profile as a client, consultant, or both.

How do I find a consultant?

Use the search page to find consultants. Browse through our growing list of available consultants.

How do I book a consultation session?

Once you've found a consultant, send them a message to organize a time. After agreeing on a time, you can propose a session. Payment will be authorized but not captured until the consultant accepts the session and the session is started.

How is payment handled?

When you propose a session, payment is authorized but not yet captured. Once the consultant accepts the session and the session is started, the payment is captured. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

Communicate directly with the other party (client or consultant) to cancel the session. Note that each consultant may have their own cancellation policy.

How do I join a session?

Join a session from the sessions page. Click on the session link to start your video/audio call at the scheduled time.

How do I set my consultation fees as a consultant?

As a consultant, you can set your fees either per session or per hour. Make sure to update your profile with the correct fee information.
